What is dvRepublic?

DvRepublic.org is a project of the Black Filmmaker Foundation.

Are you bored and/or disgusted with the artistically exhausted and politically insidious programming of American film and television?

Then join dvRepublic.org, an online community where you can access and discuss original programming that is entertainment-driven and socially-concerned.

And since talk is not enough we provide links to advocacy organizations that invite you to take an activist role in the issues that affect our lives.

You can financially contribute on-line to the filmmakers who are making specific films that you want to see and purchase them for your video library when the production is complete.

Welcome to dvRepublic.org, the liberated zone in cyberspace.
Our freedom is protected by you.
