YOUTH LINKS

Do Something
"Do Something is a nationwide network of young people who know they can make a difference in their communities and take action to change the world around them. As part of Do Something, young people are asked what they want to do to make things better and then given the resources and support to bring their unique vision to life."

The Door
"The mission of The Door is to empower young people ages 12-21 to reach their potential by providing comprehensive youth development services -- health care, counseling, education, legal services, the arts and recreation -- in a diverse and caring environment."

Stay Strong Foundation
"The culmination of Terrie [William]'s life-long and ongoing dedication to young people, The Stay Strong Foundation was established on the premise of caring from the heart for the hearts of teens. Its mission is to empower America's youth through a series of events (The Stay Strong Tour) and programs designed to raise awareness of teen issues, encourage mentoring, and provide educational resources for youth and youth organizations. A not-for-profit organization under IRS 501 (c) (3) status, the Foundation will set up mentoring opportunities, provide internships for at-risk youth, and coordinate visits by prominent individuals and business professionals to youth organizations and group homes. All efforts are geared to support today's young people by providing them opportunities that will promote their personal, educational and professional development. "

Youth Entertainment Studios
"The mission of Youth Entertainment Studios is to empower inner-city youth to become leaders of character, vision and action in their communities by challenging their creativity and equipping them with practical, confidence-building media production and marketing skills. "
