![]() Monique Curnen is is an actor and producer. Her acting credits include roles in the highly acclaimed film MARIA FULL OF GRACE (Joshua Marston - Audience Award, 2004 Sundance Film Festival), ANGEL (Jim McKay), KATE & LEOPOLD(James Mangold), LADY IN THE WATER (M. Night Shyamalan), HALF NELSON (Ryan Fleck) and BERNARD AND DORIS (Bob Balaban). She has been cast in the Steven Soderbergh film on the life of Che Guevera, starring Benecio del Toro. Her theatrical credits include the Drama Desk-Nominated "Pentecost" at The Barrow Group Theater, Jose Rivera's "Sonnets for an Old Century" also at The Barrow Group Theater, and local performances/national tour of Linda Nieves Powell's "Yo Soy Latina." Monique is a bilingual voice over talent and has recorded commercials and narration projects for radio and television. Clients include Chase Bank, L'Oreal, MTV Latino and IBM. From 2003-2006, Monique Curnern was the Administrative Director of the Black Filmmaker Foundation. For BFF’s DV Lab she co-produced the interactive films WEAPONS OF MIS-DIRECTION (2005 Webby Award Winner) and the soon-to-be-released WHERE MY LADIES AT? Speaker Fee $ 2000 |
